The School Residential Program provides residential services to individual ages 5-21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism. These services are offered in a continuum of settings including on campus suites and community-based group homes. Students are provided guidance and instruction in the areas of self-care skills, home life skills, recreation and leisure, and social skills. The School Residential Program operates year-round. Shifts available for this program include evenings, overnight and weekends.
The Adult Residential Program supports individuals 21 or older in community-based group homes. Benedictine currently offers supports in 18 groups homes located in Annapolis, Easton, Trappe, Denton, Henderson, and Ridgely.
Our main focus within this program is to assist each person supported in becoming productive and active members of their communities. Support within this program focuses on home life skills, socialization, and opportunities for recreational/leisure activities.
The Adult Residential Program operates year-round. Shifts available for this program include early morning/afternoon-evening split shifts, evenings, overnight and weekends. All positions in this department require a current driver’s license in good standing.
Benedictine’s Adult Employment/Day programs provide persons supported the ability to explore vocational interests, engage in job development, and build skills in industries of choice, leading to competitive employment in the community or volunteer opportunities.
Benedictine’s partnership with the Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) provides opportunities for transitioning youth and adults with a range of disabilities to benefit from career exploratory assessments as well as community-based, industry-specific training and job development services.
Positions for this program are primarily day shift, with some evenings and weekends required if needed for the person supported. All positions are year-round and require a current driver’s license in good standing. Some positions within this department require use of your personal vehicle for job duties.
This category pertains to positions in departments that support the business operations of the entire Benedictine organization, including Human Resources, Information Technology, Compliance, Facilities, Finance, Foundation (fundraising) and the Executive Office.
Positions within this category are primarily based at our campus location in Ridgely, MD and are full time, year-round positions.
