The Benedictine Foundation
Celebrating 60 years
One Gift, One Memory, One Smile at a Time.
For 60 years, people like you have been at the heart of our mission. As we celebrate a milestone anniversary, we are reminded that our work is rarely counted by the passage of time.
Our legacy is measured instead by the number of lives enriched by everything we have accomplished together. Your support and generosity make this possible.
As we celebrate our 60th anniversary, we reflect on those first students at Benedictine, and the Sisters who found their purpose in caring for and educating children and adults with developmental disabilities.
Today, Benedictine is a multi-functional education center serving over 200 individuals throughout their lifetime, and we need your support to assure the future of our mission.
Please consider giving to this year’s hallmark anniversary Annual Fund campaign. Your donation allows us to realize extraordinary progress in the care of all of those we serve, and we are so grateful.
Please join us for this year's Spring Gala, Benedictine Bond Ball, on April 29th and 30th, 2022 at the Tidewater Inn in Easton, Maryland. The annual Spring Gala is our hallmark fundraising event that has taken place since 1978 and is a time for members of the Benedictine community to applaud the people that make Benedictine special – the children and adults we serve, their families, the community, and our supporters. We celebrate in the spirit of our three closely held values – hospitality, dignity of work and compassionate caring. It’s a special evening of community and philanthropy and one we hope you will always remember!
Chrome City Ride
A CAMPUS COVERED IN CHROME
This year's event is on July 31,2022! Get printable registration and sponsorship forms HERE.
Our campus is the unusual home to Maryland’s largest classic car and motorcycle ride, the Chrome City Ride, an annual fundraising event that transforms a once functioning monastery into a chrome-covered campus. Since the inaugural ride in 2001, the event has paved the way for more than $1 million in funds raised to support the children and adults served here.
Birdies for Benedictine
For over 30 years, our annual Charity Golf Classic tournament has raised more than $1 million for innovative, comprehensive special education opportunities for children and adults with developmental disabilities and autism. This year's golf tournament will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 at The Talbot Country Club in Easton, MD.
