(Ridgely, MD – June 10, 2025) Benedictine held a graduation ceremony in Heritage Hall on their Ridgely campus on Thursday June 5, 2025. Seven graduates were honored for their growth and achievements during their time at Benedictine. Families, other students, staff, and Benedictine supported adults all came out to support and celebrate the graduating students.
“Our graduates have each followed their own path, bringing joy, creativity, and heart to our school. As they move into the next chapter, we celebrate not just what they’ve accomplished — but who they are becoming” shared Education Director Stephanie Franklin.
Student of The Year was awarded to Rylie, and The Benedictine School Award was awarded to Tyrese. Each student also earned a superlative such as Mr. Charming, or animal whisperer, to describe their unique personality. Graduates and their families gathered in the courtyard for photos and refreshments after the ceremony.
Students with intellectual and developmental disabilities can join the Benedictine school as early as kindergarten and graduate when they turn 21. For more information about the Benedictine school, please contact the Admissions and IEP Coordinator at admissions@benschool.org.
