Team training at it’s best! Over 50 direct care residential and vocational staff and 20 front-line managers received National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) training. The trainings occurred over a four day period held at Benedictine and Chesterwye made possible through a Maryland Agricultural Education and Rural Development Assistance Fund (MAERDAF) grant Chesterwye received.

Vision: Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who support people in their communities are called upon to make independent judgements on a frequent basis that involve both practical and ethical reasoning. The people who assume this complex role must examine their own values and beliefs while honoring those of the people they support.
