The Chesapeake Classic Car Club hosted their summer “Cruise-in for the Kids” on Saturday, June 2 at the Easton Waterside Village shopping center near the Chic-Fil-A restaurant. In total, $1,000 was raised at the event and donated to the Benedictine Foundation to benefit the kids and adults. The cruise-in filled the parking lot with classic cars and custom rides, and one lucky car owner took home the “Benedictine’s Choice” award. The custom made trophy was created and sponsored by Classic Porsche Restoration in Easton. A group of students enjoyed the afternoon viewing the cars and picking their favorite vehicle as this year’s winner.
