Maryland Association of Community Services
A private nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening agencies to better support people with developmental disabilities and their families in their own communities
Maryland Association of Nonpublic Special Education Facilities
The Maryland Association of Nonpublic Special Education Facilities (MANSEF) is a not-for-profit organization of 99 nonpublic special education facilities approved by the Maryland State Department of Education

A resource for educators and families about issues related to special education and early intervention in Maryland
Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA)
Aims to transform policies and funding processes to create a flexible, person centered,
family oriented system of supports so people can have full lives.
The DDA’s community-based service delivery system includes various home and community-based services
and supports provided through either a Medicaid State Plan or Waiver program
or via DDA State funded services.
Division of Rehabilitation (DORS)
Benedictine conducts Community Based Assessments which evaluate an
individual’s interests, needs and capabilities in a community based job.
Work Adjustment Training teaches the person the basic skills needed to find and maintain a job.
8-week Hospitality Training class utilizes a combination of classroom and job site visits
to ready the individual for competitive employment in the hospitality industry.
Job Development and Coaching assists the individual in finding and maintaining a job.

The Office of Health Care Quality (OHCQ) is the agency within the Maryland Department of Health charged
with monitoring the quality of care in Maryland's health care facilities and community-based programs.
