The vocational team will determine through training, assessments, and evaluations, each adult’s potential for employment. Opportunities exist for work placement on-campus, through supported employment, volunteer positions or competitive employment in the community.
An individualized schedule is developed by the Vocational Coordinator for each adult. The schedule reflects the participant’s interests, desires, strengths and needs, in combination with work availability on or off the Benedictine campus. Additional therapeutic opportunities will be offered as needed and when available.
Benedictine provides a wide variety of work sites on and off campus to support development of work skills, work ethic, and to engage in meaningful activity on a daily basis.
