The Benedictine Open Community Program
Recreational/Leisure Activities

We all enjoy some time to take it easy and enjoy ourselves after a day at work and on weekends.  Adults in the Open Community Program are given the opportunity to plan and participate in activities of their choice, which include:

  • Dining out at local restaurants
  • Going to the movies
  • Attending sporting events
  • Enjoying the local festivals
  • Cultural events
  • Plays and Concerts
  • Arts and Craft shows
  • Going to Amusements Parks
  • Trips to Ocean City
  • And too many more to list here!!! 

In conjunction with outside recreational and leisure activities the Open Community Program offers a wider variety of internal events for the adults in our program which include:

  • Themed dance and parties
  • Sports tournaments: bowling, bocce, basketball
  • Arts and Crafts classes
  • Photography
  • Scrapbooking
