The Benedictine Open Community Program

The Benedictine Open Community Program was established in 1982 in Maryland and in Delaware in 1990 to serve the multiple needs of persons ages 21 and over with developmental disabilities with high quality residential, vocational and health care services. We currently operate 16 homes in Maryland, 6 homes and 5 apartments in Delaware and an extensive vocational program in Maryland. The OCP is licensed by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Developmental Disabilities Administration and the Delaware Division of Developmental Disabilities. In addition the OCP is accredited by the surrounding states of New Jersey and Virginia, as well as the District of Columbia.
